Renowned worldwide, adored by all the great critics and tasters of this world, Maison Leroy is one of the legends of Burgundy. It was in 1919 that Henri Leroy got involved in the family business. Thanks to him, Maison Leroy experienced a meteoric rise. The Leroy family went on to be co-owners of the iconic Domaine de la Romanée-Conti in 1942, which became a real gem.
Maison Leroy is inevitably associated with Lalou-Bize Leroy, great lady of Burgundy. Lalou Bize-Leroy became co-manager of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti in 1974 until 1992 alongside Aubert de Villaine. An unmatched taster, Lalou Bize-Leroy fascinates with her unique and singular vision of Burgundy. With a perfect knowledge of the terroirs and an extremely perfectionist, Lalou Bize-Leroy established herself as a pioneer by initiating biodynamics in her vines in 1988.
