Thomas James are an independent English clock company launched in 2023.

England’s most skilled craftspeople have been brought together to produce this exceptional wall clock, the first by Thomas James.

Each clock is made to order, and the Argentum Luna will be limited to only 12 pieces.

Each timepiece has a unique identification number on both the movement and backplate, with a beautiful presentation box, certificate of authenticity and owner’s handbook. Each piece also comes with its own personalised flight case.

Deposit is required to secure your order. Once your item has been reserved we will confirm shipping, taxes, and any applicable duties required for your purchase. Once final costs are confirmed, you have an option to cancel your reservation, otherwise, the remaining balance will be available for payment via direct wire in 48 hours.
Specifications

The Clock contains a special adaptation of the classic Great wheel mechanical movement. Beautifully engineered with an eight-day power reserve and finished in Platinum. Built by the world-renowned clock makers Sinclair Harding in Yorkshire.

Winding and hand setting are through a tactile crown located within the surround and easily accessed from below.

The dial is cut from the highest-grade aluminium with three-dimensional detail and finished in a pearlescent white.

The markers are all cast from solid sterling silver, individually assayed and hand polished to a mirrored finish by Thomas Fattorinis, located within the Birmingham jewellery quarter since 1827.

The surround is solid walnut, layered and arranged in an intricate bricking pattern. Hand made by expert cabinet maker Peter Toaig in the Lake District.

Limited to 12 pieces, The Argentum Luna is a large statement piece, and as such is an impressive 680mm in diameter, 131mm deep, and weighing 25kg, all supported by the simple and effective hanging mechanism. The solid build gives it a truly imposing feel.

Shipping & Delivery Details

Expected to be delivered between 3-6 months from the date of order. Delivered by courier, price dependent on location to be shipped, some additional charges may apply.

The product will be delivered by courier within a crate, containing a flight case in which there is a presentation box containing the clock. A hanging mechanism and instructions. Thomas James can not accept any responsibility for damage or injury resulting from the hanging of the clock.
