The ancestors of Bruce Wayne have played a part in shaping the history of Gotham City and they continue to do so on a global scale. For centuries the Wayne family’s diverse interests, unflappable tenacity, and adventurous spirit have created a vast tapestry of stories and an impressive heritage. The Wayne family and their legacy deserve to be celebrated. Their unique taste, style, and knowledge are an enticing, desirable, and inspirational story.
Wayne Enterprises is one of the largest international conglomerates, with operations in fields that include aerospace, technology, biotech, and alternative energy. This enterprise was founded by Solomon Wayne in the late 17th century. His son Alan Wayne later helped lay the foundation for the diverse powerhouse Wayne Enterprises is today.
Alan's grandson Patrick Morgan Wayne developed what was to become WayneTech, through the addition of aircraft and naval technologies. Patrick's son, Dr. Thomas Wayne, turned the direction of the company to its current prominence in social responsibility, by establishing the charitable Wayne Foundation. After Dr. Thomas Wayne and his wife Martha died tragically, their son Bruce Wayne has honored their legacy by continuing their mission to create a better future for the people of Gotham City and beyond.
Today, Wayne Enterprises is led by Lucius Fox, appointed directly by Bruce Wayne. Wayne Enterprises is dedicated to nurturing and activating life-changing services and products.
